Still her classmates though? Then again, where else are meaningful combat confrontations gonna come from? Her family? Not bloody likely.

Also, previous discussions on her codename had something about Disney Princess-ness? So, like Princess Aurora?
The "princess-ness" discussion had to do with Elsa from Frozen, who is patterned after Elle (obviously) and thus Elle will enlist the help of Ayla to get Disney a cease-and-desist order, or huge royalties, for using Elle's likeness and powers when they made the now-famous feature animation

That wouldn't work. Team Kimba is named after Kimba the White Lion, a work not connected to Disney I believe is still protected under its own copyright which hasn't run out yet. Plus can't try to sue over something which is a real name, the judge would throw the book at the Disney lawyers for wasting his time.Phoenix Spiritus wrote:

And yet, 'The Lion King' with its main protagonist 'Simba' exists.
Proving my point about Disney and the power of their lawyers, i.e. 'What's ours is ours, and forevermore will remain so, and what's yours is ours to, because we want it'.

Speaking of Elle (she came up in Absinthe of Malice thread)... where is she? I don't recall any mention of her in any stories... but wasn't she starting Whateley this fall? Did that fall through? Did I misread dates? I swear she manifested in 2006... and was joining Whateley in fall 07.
She's not in Poe (which isn't as surprising when you realize she's been out as a changeling to the entire country for almost a year now) but I still would have expected some notice of her, mention, something. I can't imagine Nikki wouldn't have felt... something.

The biggest problem is that I haven't had time or motivation to write for the last 5 months, mostly because I had a rotator cuff repair in my left shoulder and I was pretty drugged up or in pain, and then our house flooded in Hurricane Harvey, and it's been chaos ever since. The house repair is a slow thing because there are so many houses needing repair and not enough contractors to do the job. So it's demoralizing, and that's impacted my writing time and desire.
I have Elle stories planned. Yes, she will interact with Fey. Yes, she will interact with Absinthe. But only after I'm able to get time and zeal for writing.

If it helps, sometimes I just need to marathon my all time favorite shows and moments (Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and the Skypiea->Enies Lobby arcs of One Piece typically) to put me into a mood. I also get a lot of writing inspiration from my Dnd games. I have no idea what your free time or hobby situation is, but if that helps at all, yay! Or Marathon something new I haven't seen before. What inspired Elle to begin with? Rereading my own works has also helped me sometimes.
I hope something helps if you want it to. I also hope/pray your home flooded and rotator cuff situations are fixed.

And then she can interact with Metro!

Because in my WhatIF setting I kind of put one of the remaining passages between Midgard and Jotunheim along E14, in the uplands above Meraker before re-reading "Dawn of the Aurora". It's not like Einar/Elle routinely had a need to visit Sweden anyway.
At the moment, I'm picturing someone else coming back back to the Beret Mafia table after the winter break with "Guess what I've been invited to!" news. But, "Enjoy your skiing trip?

But yeah. We know she's the 7th queen (of the ice or snow or whatever). We know she can affect the temperature and wind and stuff. We'll know more in her little short bit when it arrives. And we know her spirit doesn't remember much - got spirit amnesia. And there's another character somewhere in published canon that will interact heavily with Elle. Not counting Fey. Fey will, too. Oh, and another of my characters will as well, but the background on all THAT will show up in the short bit.
She's going to challenge Kodiak for the title of "most likely to wear a swimsuit in a blizzard". If pressed, she might use her snow and ice powers to make the resident Alaskan say "I have to admit that it's getting a bit cool". Some guys may find her quite charming; others, perhaps a bit ... frigid. So life should be interesting, and thus her stories.

Hmm... Absinthe as MCO Liaison, part of the team picking her up from the airport or something? Dunno how these things work. Elle, as a, Prophesied Sidhe Royal, should be under heavy guard or something???

That wouldn't work. Elle manifested months before Gwen did, and ended up arriving on time for the start of the school year. Absinthe and Flytrap don't arrive until October.

Norway has its own royalty

As Elle is a minor, and has been stalked and attacked, it would be reasonable for someone to recommend that she not travel alone. If there were indications of a higher threat, it would be simple to ensure that she's not the only hero, Whateley student, alum, and/or staff on her flights. (Flying out of Trondheim, someone could easily board in Oslo, Copenhagen, or Amsterdam, depending on route and cost without it looking anything at all out of the ordinary. For a few dollars and headaches more, she could also be routed through London.)

The Winter Crown sounds like something Aegloswen would wear. Winter Cold and White and all that?
Or is it a War Crown or something, with Winter as in Death and Pain and stuff???
Or... Aegloswen was already dead by the time Aung wore the Winter Crown, and was wearing it in war as a way to carry her dead sister with her, fighting against the things that killed her??
Why make her hair white... OH. It's part of that " Sidhe that use different Essence Types, look different. " Thing.
What does that mean about the Fan-Sidhe???
... Hmm... Explains Elemental Eyes and stuff in humans, too? Like Rip's Water Blue Eyes, but that's tangential.

a) The final leg of the Eurostar from the Chunnel to London St. Pancras, and

But, anyway, flying directly to Heathrow makes MUCH more sense.

Hmmm... checking online...
...it seems that London is the best choice. I couldn't find a direct flight from Oslo to Boston, but I found a bunch with a single Heathrow stop, a few with single Amsterdam sops... and one with a single Lisbon stop, but it's a much longer flight -- also MUCH cheaper. And a lot of flights with two stops (either Helsinki-New York or London-New York, sometimes Helsinki-London or going through Philadelphia instead of NY)
But apparently no stopovers in Paris. Looking further, it seems that there are no direct flights from Paris to Boston. Well, that would explain it being a bad option...

I very much doubt that anyonecoming via Eurostar from the continent will have any trouble finding St. Pancras. I mean, how hard can it be? You just have to stay in the train until they tell you that everybody is supposed to leave it.
Now, finding King's Cross from there might be a tad more complicated -- I yield to your superior knowledge in that regard.

To be honest, I never had trouble finding King's Cross from St. Pancras. Just the other way around.
Forger: It'd be more about time than money. London is far more of a "global" hub that any of the other western European Airports, with four registered airports doing approximately 150 million passagers in 2016 with the next down being Paris with two airports doing 95million.
Given that, it's no surprise that the UK serves much more frequent and numerous flights to the US.
