Question New stories?

Is it just that it is near Christmas time, of what? I'm wondering as it seems that it has been a while since any of the regular series that are underway have been updated here...

Whatcha talking about? ... Did you perhaps post on the wrong forums or something?? 'Cause Whateley's been updating basically at least once a week. It's just that last week we had a Library Non-Canon Story.

Do you actually mean one of the Quad Series like Foodie Bookies?? ... Which isn't actually in the Quad anymore...

So Haunted was considered last week's story... My bad, I wasn't sure if that was what it was considered or if it was going to be an 'extra'...

Oh yeah I understand that. If I hadn't gotten a call off I thought I'd be working for the two weeks prior to Christmas as much as possible... Don't know why I got the call off... I need the work or I have to move back to the home place...

We've slowed the releases to once a week for now but we still have releases scheduled for several weeks. They're not all the same timeframes either... we've got some original canon timeline, some second Gen and another Library piece. We've definitely got some continuation on stories I think people have been waiting to see in there as well.

I can say this, I have...
1 (RtS 4 about half done, and possibly the last, maybe 2nd to last in it), 2 (*classified*, vignette, 1/3rd done), 3 (S/F2 at least outlined), 4 (late Y1/Summer/Y2 horror themed story, outlined) stories somewhat working on, but they're being sneaky. Plus a bit for another G2 author. But that's me and I'm a hit and miss writer, so when they'll all be done? Who knows.

It's the time of year for Silver Ghost to update, so we might get that if Bek's muse was generous. I'm looking forward to that (if we get it). I seriously doubt Morpheus is capable of not having something in the pipeline, even if he himself is currently on a bit of a break (which I don't think he is, I just mean he writes so much he could take one and we wouldn't notice).

All we can apparently guarantee is that Elrod and JG are a bit touch/go. And I think Wasamon had something in the works.

Oh, and Bek, if memory serves, does have the rest of Vegas for us.

I'm looking at the end of Fate and the Iron Tiger for sure. A new Sara story and a new Envy story is on the cards. I've just finished reading the relevant Kayda stories about Sara and The Final Trump for Envy and Jessie's relationship.

Really appreciate the update from the various Authors and admins in this Thread.
It is just nice to know a bit how life is going for them, good, bad or just normal and where their muse is taking them even if very slowly

For what it's worth since it's in WhatIF, but the second book that follows Into the Light is just about 2/3 drafted, and I'm hoping to complete the draft during the one week holiday break away from work. After that it's time to edit, polish, and get feedback, then it can get put up (6 parts)...

I've had a bit too much going on to be able to publish anything I'm working on. I AM working on them. I just don't have anything I can publish right now. But for those who enjoyed Dice, you'll eventually see more of my stuff.

I definitely liked Dice. It is one of the better fan fics I've read.

If you don't mind me asking, I've always wondered: is the fact that you only publish Golden Angel (and before that, Nacht's Christmas) during the holidays an aesthetic choice, or does your muse only cooperate for these stories when enveloped with sufficient holiday spirit?

If Bek gets his muse plastered, she doesn't stop him writing what he wants to for a while
