  • So.

    Xmas day story.

Big old Christmas fruit cake on a Morpheus story. Probably an Imp Christmas story.

He's published every month this year, and I don't see him missing December. Especially not when the Imp can play Christmas elf to a Superhawk Santa. :)

  • Given the renewed discussion of Reinforce's sponsor, some chocolate edibles on the next Outcast Corner installment featuring some Hugo Award-worthy softcore gay dinosaur porn. Plus, a side wager of pillow mints on scenes demonstrating that that the creation of the Pack Stalkers originally involved several species of furries gathered together in a cave and grooving with a Pict.

  • For the sporting among you, bets are now being taken for tonights release.

And to make things interesting, I thought I would update you all on the state of things with moi. I have four complete items in the pipeline:

The Evil That Men Do Part One
The Evil That Men Do Part Two
    Fallen Angel
    and
    "Blue Harvest"

Yes, I am deliberately teasing about the title of the latest chapter of Darth Nyeomi Fens and her adventures in The Old Republic. Fallen Angel is a new piece, in the Whateley Universe, but completely separated (well, mostly) from anything I have done before. And that is all I will say about it. There will be more revealed when it is released. The Evil That Men Do is the latest installment in the adventures of Lanie, Tansy and Kayda in the Original time line.

And just to be fair, none of this is misdirection as none of it is being published tonight.

    Place your bets...

I doubt we'd be lucky enough to get Morpheus two weeks in a row.

Anything Morpheus is unlikely -- not only he has been posting another story here, he is also busy with a non-Whateley story over at BCTS and his mailing list.
Given recent posts by Dr. Bender, I think she's still a bit far from posting a new story.

  • A fresh pot of Major Dickason's Blend (pour-over, from freshly ground beans) and a bottle of stain remover on Diamonds.

Please don't try to drink the stain remover, Jobe isn't sure what the bacterium she used in it would do to the GI tract but she says it probably wouldn't be good. She did say that it should die off after a few generations, but prolonged skin contact should be avoided as well. She insists it won't digest silk, however. Probably. After all, it works fine with spider silk, though admittedly that really is quite different... hmmn, well, try it anyway, she'll pay for replacement if there's a problem.

  • I'm thinking something with how messed up Kayda's life is, either Haunting of Jennifer Kelly or The Evil that Men do.
I haven't been able to get out to the store due to all the snow, so you'll have to settle for leftover meatloaf.

86 the Pad Thai; I just finished cooking that very dish the first time for dinner tonight, and saying I need to work on it would be an understatement.

  • I'll make a side bet of a dozen Jacob's Cream Crackers, a nice bit of Brie, and a condiment dish of Branston Pickle Relish, on either Reinforce or Koala being involved in the next story.

(sigh Yeah, I know that Yahtzee's originally from the UK, and is now living in the US. I just wanted to make that joke.)

I will also make a slightly (but only slightly) more serious side bet of a dozen raw oysters that the next story - regardless of subject or generation - will include some hints as to Adore's backstory.

Stop that snickering, I said story you pervs.

How about The IRS attacking Imp on Parent's Day, and oops.. .look, Chickenhawk happens to be there.

Coyotelf: "These primates are wonderful, simply wonderful! So skilled at cranking organs and harvesting bananas; my plantations have never been so musical and productive! I simply love them. But the shedding! So much shedding! They're not great at following directions either. I'd like to commission a strain with less shedding and more language comprehension. And make them so they don't tire so quickly!"

    Celengineerhadhail: "Aye aye!"

Coyotelf: "And while you're at it, I find that I am lacking in bling. I need you to craft nineteen rings for me. You may keep three for yourself as payment for services rendered."

    Celengineerhadhail: "Consider it done."

Coyotelf: "Good, good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to pay a visit to my winter getaway. I left something in the volcano, and I must get it out before it burns."
