alternative bet, Snicker-doodles on Glow 2, though they may go to whomever catches why that is my wager for Glow. (I am counting all of A Glow in the Darkness as Glow 1)
I have reasons for suspecting a Morph story. And that any Gen 1 stories at the school for a little bit will have to be BEFORE the Parents day group of stories, because it makes sense to group those all together, The Gates of the Garden is NOT a Parents day, though it does have a bunch pertaining to it, Absinthe of Malice (or at least a Part 1 of it) for example has to occur before parents day, so it will most likely be published before the Gen 1 Y 2 Parents Day proper stories begin.

I don't get your reference, anyway... the only one I can think of is District Attorney Daniels from Night Court, and I don't recall bourbon coming up regarding him.
Also, IIRC both the real-life Oscar Zeta Acosta , and Benicio del Torro (who played his fictional counterpart Dr. Gonzo in the movie version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ), were/are quite tall. Zeta was Mexican-American, and was a Chicano Movement activist; the Samoan thing was originally a throw-away joke about Duke/HST's befuddlement at that point in the book, which HST then decided to keep using as a way of muddying the waters regarding Gonzo's identity.
Fun/Extremely Disturbing Fact: while the book is fictional, it was mostly based on actual events. Starting off as an article for a sports magazine, HST intended the book as an experiment in Gonzo Journalism, but it was so disjointed that he concluded it wasn't going to work out right, so he reworked his notes and fictionalized it. It is primarily based three trips Thompson and Acosta made to Las Vegas over a span of two months, and they really were there to cover an off-road race (for the first trip), and a National District Attorney's Convention (the third trip, I think - IIRC, the second, shortest one was to try and gather some additional information for the original planned article). They were both looking to get out of LA for a while for other reasons - they needed somewhere where they could discuss in private another article HST was writing; also, a lot of people were accusing Acosta and Thompson of being FBI informants, and there had been some death threats, so they wanted to let it cool down a bit - and HST took the assignments in part as an excuse to do that. Several of the incidents reportedly actually happened, though not always on one of those trips. AFAICT, the bathtub incident in particular happened a few months earlier, in San Diego, and involved about a half dozen people trying to keep someone - I don't think it was either Acosta or Thompson - from electrocuting himself for unknown reasons.

(This is actually a really nice dessert based upon an Amish recipe.)
Raises Eyebrow.
Generally I would state the words turnip and dessert should not be used in the same sentence. I would also point out this being a FOOD Casino, wagered items must be food. Amish, huh? Alright, we'll let this one slide...

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

It's also a vegetarian dish.

You realize by making this kind of bet, you almost assure neither of those story types will be released next. It is rare to find actual good fruitcake. Though the bad kind can be used as a weapon.Rose Bunny wrote: Fruitcake on Some Hank or Tia/Jamie.

I know of a great fruitcake recipe, WNCX's is amazing, if you have enough whiskey to make it, and can hold enough to follow said recipe....

*snerk* that made me think of something else. My birthday was a couple days ago. when you back-trace it, do I blame my existence on Valentine's Day?null0trooper wrote:

There's online calculators for that! If you were born a couple of weeks early, you could blame St. Patrick.

Anyway, there was a sort-of urban legend here in Brazil that there was a spike in births around... this time of the year, give or take a few weeks depending on the particular date of Easter for that year. Blame Carnival. With a somewhat smaller spike in late September/early October, due to New Year's. I never seen anyone with hard data supporting this legend, mind you...

There was allegedly a spike in births in July, 17 in Chicago. 9 months after the Cubs won the World Series. www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaki...-20170726-story.html
